CONSENT AND USE OF COOKIES (CONSENT MANAGEMENT)
This website uses cookies and comparable technologies. Insofar as these are not technically essential, they are only activated after you have actively consented via our consent banner. This applies, for example, to Facebook Pixel, Google Tag Manager, YouTube, and Google Maps.
To obtain and manage your consent, we use the consent management tool **Real Cookie Banner**. Via the banner, you can consent to or reject processing by individual services. Your consent decision is stored so that we do not have to ask you again when you visit the site again. The consent data processed in this context (including anonymized/shortened IP address, time of consent, information about the decision made) is stored until you request deletion, delete the cookie yourself, or the purpose of storage no longer applies. The storage serves to fulfill our legal documentation obligations.
The legal basis for the use of cookies and services requiring consent is your consent pursuant to § 25 para. 1 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. The legal basis for storing the consent itself is our legitimate interest in legally compliant consent management (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) and, where applicable, a legal obligation (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR).
You can revoke or modify your consent at any time with effect for the future by reopening the consent banner via the corresponding link/button.
DATA TRANSFER TO THIRD COUNTRIES
Insofar as personal data is transferred to third countries (particularly the USA) via the services listed below, this is done on the basis of the adequacy decision of the EU Commission (EU-US Data Privacy Framework), provided the recipient is appropriately certified; otherwise, on the basis of standard contractual clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR.
SCOPE OF PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
We generally process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services. The processing of personal data of our users generally occurs only with the user’s consent. An exception applies in cases where prior consent cannot be obtained for practical reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by law.
LEGAL BASIS FOR THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
Insofar as we obtain consent from the data subject for processing operations involving personal data, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR serves as the legal basis. When processing personal data necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR serves as the legal basis. This also applies to processing operations necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures.
Insofar as processing is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation to which our company is subject, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR serves as the legal basis. In the event that vital interests of the data subject or another natural person require processing, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. d GDPR serves as the legal basis. If processing is necessary to protect a legitimate interest of our company or a third party and the interests, fundamental rights, and freedoms of the data subject do not outweigh the former interest, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR serves as the legal basis.
DATA DELETION AND STORAGE PERIOD
The personal data of the data subject will be deleted or its processing restricted as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. Storage may also occur if this has been provided for by the European or national legislator in EU regulations, laws, or other provisions to which the controller is subject. Blocking or deletion of the data also occurs when a prescribed storage period expires, unless there is a need for further storage for the conclusion or fulfillment of a contract.

The data is stored in the log files of our system. This data is not stored together with other personal data of the user.
The legal basis for the temporary storage of the data and log files is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The temporary storage of the IP address is necessary to enable delivery of the website. Storage in log files is carried out to ensure the functionality of the website as well as to optimize the website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected; in the case of log files, no later than 30 days.

We use Google Tag Manager. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Tag Manager is a solution that allows us to manage and integrate website tags via an interface. According to the provider, the tool itself does not collect personal data for profiling purposes; however, it enables the integration of additional tags that may themselves collect personal data. Google Tag Manager and the tags requiring consent deployed through it are only loaded after you have given your consent.
The legal basis is your consent pursuant to § 25 para. 1 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Data transfer to the USA may occur; the guarantees mentioned above apply.
FACEBOOK PIXEL (META)

With the help of the pixel, we can track the behavior of users after they have been redirected to our website by clicking on a Facebook or Instagram ad (conversion measurement), and display interest-based advertising to visitors of our website (remarketing). With regard to the collection and transmission of data to Meta, we and Meta are joint controllers within the meaning of Art. 26 GDPR; the essential contents of this agreement can be found in Meta’s terms.
The legal basis is your consent pursuant to § 25 para. 1 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Data transfer to the USA may occur; the guarantees mentioned above apply. Further information can be found in Meta’s privacy policy.
YOUTUBE
Videos from YouTube are embedded on this website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
We use YouTube in extended privacy mode (“youtube-nocookie”). Only when you actively start a video or have consented to the embedding is a connection established to YouTube’s servers; YouTube is then informed which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into YouTube, YouTube can associate your browsing behavior with your profile; you can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
The legal basis is your consent pursuant to § 25 para. 1 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Data transfer to the USA may occur; the guarantees mentioned above apply.
GOOGLE MAPS
