7:1 FOR FIRE PROTECTION!
One Seven compressed air foam extinguishing systems—the name may sound bulky, but the idea behind it is as simple as it is ingenious: one part water becomes seven parts of a special extinguishing foam. There is hardly a more efficient way to extinguish a fire! Since the fire protection specialist Schmitz developed the process 25 years ago, it has remained unsurpassed and a market leader. One Seven systems are available for both mobile use (e.g., in fire engines) and stationary installation (e.g., in tunnels, on oil platforms, at recycling companies, etc.). As part of the restructuring of Schmitz, which we are supporting strategically and promotionally, One Seven is now being "spun off" as an independent brand and revitalized.
LET CUSTOMERS SPEAK!
For this, we first invited the client to a two-day workshop at Lake Constance. After a comprehensive inventory – even advertising professionals with firefighting experience like us never stop learning (especially when it comes to technology and techniques) – we jointly developed possible conceptual approaches based on the current situation. It quickly became clear that testimonials should play an important role in the future – because fire departments, companies, and municipalities that use One Seven systems swear by them and would never work with anything else. Therefore, more convincing brand ambassadors and advertising vehicles will be hard to find!
Very quickly – almost spontaneously – the opportunity arose to film and photograph a large-scale exercise of a fire department in Norway, which has been using a vehicle with a One Seven extinguishing system for many years. Organizing and executing such actions professionally and promptly is certainly one of our great strengths – and so Åge Tøndevoldshagen, Fire Chief Lesja og Dovre Brannvesen, became our first One Seven testimonial. And finding further advocates was no problem: two comrades – one from Austria and one from Germany – followed in the next few weeks, were filmed, photographed, and launched as campaign heroes.
Simultaneously with the campaign, we developed One Seven's new corporate design and, step by step, an extensive website. The first print materials, above all brochures, were also implemented.
Looking ahead to 2020, there is still a lot to do. INTERSCHUTZ, the leading international trade fair for the fire protection industry, is approaching – and for everyone active in this field, INTERSCHUTZ years are always super years. So, expect things to heat up. But the One Seven team at Kainz is ready!
